What would be your predictions in terms of the most contested heroes in Manila? Despite the nerfs this week to the heroes, it's very likely we'll see most of the same heroes prioritised since the nerfs were fairly minor.

I still see Phoenix as a very potent support and occasional offlane hero. Phoenix's Sun Ray got worse cool down wise, but it's around the same usefulness throughout the whole game.

Doom will still be picked for early-mid game reasons but be more limited in the amount of times he can team fight, and Beastmaster, despite his nerf, can always just lane effectively like he could before his boar got accidentally buffed.

My shot in the dark prediction is a less used carry hero might trend now that teams had a few extra weeks to try out the new items and some more efficient builds.

Often metas tend to lend themselves to a certain region. I wouldn't say that the meta fits a particular region right now since Dota is getting more and more figured out over time.

With so many games happening all the time, there are lots of replays to watch of top teams and if you can emulate their ganking patterns, the heroes they pick and the items they build, there starts to become a more standardised game progression.

Some teams and regions might favour some heroes earlier in the draft, or even more often, but the winner of each tournament often comes down to who is faster at setting up rotations and ganks, and out predicting their opponents.

I don't think a huge patch would be a good thing before TI. The D ota 2 Epic League is currently underway, and the group stage is about to conclude tomorrow.
