I make use of Google Analytics to measure the metrics (the visitor statistics) for 2nd Shift. I thought I'd share some of that with you. Since starting we've had 829 visitors (that's an average of 27 a day). The average number of page views (how many pages are viewed in a single viist) is 4. The average time spent on the site in a single visit is 2:41 minutes. I have a bounce rate of about 58%. Bounce rate measures people who visit the site and leave within a few seconds.

The majority of visitors are from the United States. That's followed by Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Within the United States, the top five states are Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, and California. I have a pretty good idea of who lives in Arizona and North Carolina. 63% or so of traffic to 2nd Shift is a referal/link from another site. I get the most referals from Belfry Comics. After that, the top referers are the Wotch forums, Cass-Chan's deviant art site, and Topwebcomics.com.
