I want to thank those people who have been voting for 2nd Shift, regularly. We've managed to keep in the top 230. Considering there are thousands of comics registered at topwebcomics.com, I don't consider that half bad. Especially for our first month. Right now we're averaging roughly 5 votes per day. 2nd Shift currently has 66 votes for the month and is #216 on the list. To give you an idea, the #200 comic has 73 votes for the month. What does this all mean? Honestly, not much in terms of a "contest". What it means to me is I have a small but dedicated number of readers who go out of their way to visit regularly and vote. As a friend once told me, a single, dedicated reader is worth a thousand casual visits to the site. So, thank you.

This week's voting incentive is a full page preview of Arcana. That's an upcoming webmanga written by myself with art by the amazing Jamie Diaz. Arcana follows the adventures of two young women, Chrystalline and Theresa, as they explore both their feelings for each other and a number of different universes, each one based on a different tarot card. Arcana should be coming to a website near you later this year.
