And so starts chapter 3: Charles. I hope you enjoyed this small flashback to Asimov and Charles' teen years. I've decided to start adding shading and highlighting to the comic. It might take me a while to get the hang of it, so please be patient. By the way, I'm working on a new site design for 2nd Shift, now that Mysteries of the Arcana is up and running. I promise it should be more pleasing and have some interesting new features.

Sorry about today's page being a few hours late. I was experimenting with this new technique and has some last minute ideas. I thought it might be fun to do the ocean lemming flashback as a fairy tale and I thought that the art needed to be different for that. I hope you enjoy it.

In other news, if you look to the right, underneath the shout box, you might notice a new button that says Review me and gives a score. Follow that link and you can read some reviews of 2nd Shift! The reviews were tough but fair, giving me an average score of about 3.33. If you like, you're free to sign up on that site and review 2nd Shift or any other webcomic you feel deserves such. Most webcomic folk, I think, like to see reader thoughts on their work.

The two cinema employees up there aren't just two random characters. No, no, not at all. I borrowed them from an awesome webcomic called Multiplex. It is my personal favorite webcomic in the workplace genre (to which 2nd Shift belongs). I can only hope my comic is someday as good as his. Make sure you go check it out!
